Why Choose Soil and Sea?

Organic From The Ground Up

Eversfield Organic and now Soil and Sea, started with a dream to nurture a farm back to health after years of intensive farming. This hard work created the foundations for us to produce and source the best quality organic and environmentally sustainable food, with the highest standards of animal welfare.

From Our Farm, to Your Door

Choose from our selection of organic or wild range of expertly butchered meat.

We choose to work with local producers wherever possible, as we find it creates a multitude of positive offshoots.

It's In Your Hands

We believe your organic food delivery should be entirely in your hands. So, we offer full flexibility for your delivery day, delivery schedule, delivery address and personal details.

We always send a reminder before each of your deliveries, too, so you're always in control of your schedule.

The Benefits of Organic

If you still need convincing to start your organic journey with us, let us tell you a bit more about the benefits of switching to organic...

  • Better for the planet - working with nature, organic farming avoids artificial fertilisers and uses less energy than traditional methods. Supporting local organic farmers reduces food miles and CO2 emissions, helping in the fight against climate change.
  • Better for the soil - Treating the soil with TLC helps farms to thrive, nourishing the surrounding microenvironment and preserving the ground for generations to come. Utilising waste as compost produces nature's fertiliser, keeping soils nutritious, crops growing and livestock happy.
  • Better for animal welfare - organic and grass fed livestock who are allowed to express natural behaviour by foraging and grazing outdoors makes happy animals that are less likely to suffer from disease.
  • Better for wildlife - on average, plant, insect and bird life is 50% more abundant on organic farms and home to around 75% more wild bees.
  • Better for your and your family - the nutrients found in organic food are passed on to you when you choose to eat organic. Organic meat boasts high levels of Omega-3 fatty acids and essential vitamins and minerals.
